Our vision
For too long, the stories that stirred hearts in the shadows never received the recognition they deserved…
Those who introduced Harry to magic.
Transformed Feyre and Rhysand into symbols for an entire generation.
Trained Robert Langdon in the world's greatest mysteries.
And taught Katniss how to defy the Capitol.
Stories that make millions of readers dream, that fill bookstores, cross generations and give birth to entire communities.
The Golden Quills finally offer them a stage, and the recognition they deserve.
Why The Golden Quills?
Fantasy, Romance, Science Fiction, Thriller, Romantasy
These stories are among the most read, best-selling, and most shared books in the world. They give rise to passionate communities, inspire international adaptations, and now occupy a major place in the book market.
Yet, the genres that inspire dreams, thrills, and transport entire generations are still too often considered minor literature. Popular literature, but rarely celebrated to the extent of its cultural impact.
The Golden Quills was born from a simple conviction:
Stories that inspire passion also deserve to be recognized, celebrated and brought to light.
Our ambition
The Golden Quills aspires to become a recognized event for the excellence of its ceremony, the quality of its experience, and the place it gives to authors.
This project also reveals a desire to establish an event capable of bringing together, each year, the various players in the book industry around a shared passion.
Located in the heart of Europe, Belgium is a privileged meeting point for welcoming authors, readers and professionals from different countries.
Ultimately, The Golden Quills aims to embody, for the world of books, what the greatest award ceremonies represent in their respective fields.
